Is anyone implementing this project? If so, how do you configure the PayPal API? Are you encountering any issues installing this?

Fran,

There are instructions on how to use the PayPal API in the file quickstart.txt.

In order to accept PayPal payments

1.            Sign up for PayPal Pro and get your account’s SOAP API credentials.

2.            In web.config change the app settings PayPalAPIUsername, PayPalAPIPassword and PayPalAPISignature.

3.            The gatway is currently set to Paypal’s sandbox. When you are finished testing orders and are ready to go live in web.confing replace both endpoints https://api.sandbox.paypal.com/2.0/ with the live URL https://api.paypal.com/2.0/

Gal,

Yes, that's all true, with one caveat. Paypal changes their UI on a regular basis, and their business rules as well.  After lengthy conversations with PayPal customer service, I've gotten my Paypal API working the way it should. I expect that 6 months from now, they will have changed some more and I'll be back on the phone. But it's all good for now.

I recommend the NopCommerce videos to anyone else who encounters issues. They're very good.

Cool, im glad you got it working. My example store seems to be working fine with the dev box. If Paypal change anything just shoot me an email. ill change the code to match.
